HCA was founded in 1983 and is based in Gloucestershire and London.

The practice covers both new build and the restoration of listed and historic buildings.

We have designed and built a wide range of building types including residential, sheltered housing, nursing homes, hotels, offices, IT buildings, TV and audio studios.

HCA are space planners and interior designers, particularly of residential, hotels and offices, including full ff & e.

Sustainability is an important part of the way HCA design utilising locally sourced materials, renewable energy and minimising the building’s impact on the environment.

Our approach to each project  is centred on defining our client’s personal or development requirements to establish a clear brief, budget and programme from the outset so that the most appropriate design can be prepared recognizing the constraints and opportunities of each site and its setting.
